Roma

Ah... what to say about Rome.... its HUGE for starters... and OLD for seconds! I mean... REALLY FRICKEN OLD!!! there are columns that date back to 1000 BC, and some of the other buildings are between 2 and 3 thousand years old. and you can still see them.... and touch them... and walk thru them. talk about feeling small and insignificant!!! we spent all of yesterday at the Vatican, its museums and the sistine chapel and then went into st. peters basilica.... GORGEOUS!!! Truly spectacular! Today, we have been taking it easy, wandering here and there, throwing coins into the Trevi Fountain, wandering some more, seeing the Capital... it is truly a wonder.... tomorrow we are off to the collesium, the forum and the pantheon... i can not wait! (if you are wondering, i cant figure out the apostrophe key)
Ciao Bella from Roma....

Florence

Hi! If anyone is checking this... then Hi! I am not currently in florence, but i will tell you that it was beautiful. we had a very relaxing 3 days and managed to see the 2 museums that were recommended to me, the Opera at the Duomo Museum, and the Galleria Dell Accademia. We have seen some of Michelangelos greatest works. I have climbed to the top of the bell tower at the Duomo (quite a climb!!!), we ate gelato and pizza almost every day, and we crossed the arno river via the ponte vecchio... unlike my friend jp, i did not pee in the arno...
i can not get over the history here in italy. everything is just so OLD! and beautiful, and amazing and now i am just rambling about it all. i have to post a quick rome blurb while i still have internet access so you will all just have to wait for the photos....
